Campus Bowl Team Continues To Climb Up League Standings

After a slow start in conference play, the Scotland County campus bowl team has started to climb up the league standings. SCR-I moved up another notch with a 260-210 victory over Schuyler County March 19.

The Tigers opened a 60-30 lead in the first period and never trailed in the contest.

Michele Grosenkemper led the team in scoring with seven toss-ups. Ryan Hinds added six and Thomas Crawford finished with four.

The junior high squad made it a clean sweep with a 295-160 win in the opening game. Schuyler County stayed close in the first half before SCR-I pulled away in the fourth period.

Jason Findling had nine toss-ups to lead the scoring attack. Clint Cottrell pitched in with four.
