Rutledge Woman Cited For DWI Following Wreck

A Rutledge woman suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident on Route K in Knox County at 5:30 p.m. July 15.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Tina Brogan, 24, was eastbound on Route K 1.5 miles east of Baring in a 1983 Buick. The vehicle ran off the right side of the road and the driver apparently over-corrected, forcing the car off the left side of the road where it struck a fence.

Brogan was taken by Knox County Ambulance to Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

Brogan was arrested for driving while intoxicated, driving while revoked and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway.

The vehicle was removed from the scene. The Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Knox County Rescue Squad and the Knox County Ambulance Service.
