Rutledge To Offer Aluminum Can Recycling Program

A small test recycling program has been established in Rutledge. The project currently consists of one barrel, for aluminum cans, located in the pavilion next to the post office.
"If things go well I'll set up more barrels for other materials," said project organizer Cecil Scheib of the Dancing Rabbit Community. "People can contact me at 883-5511 if they have questions or want to know more about recycling."
Scheib noted that Kevin Tripp cut the hole for cans in the
barrel lid, and Megan Cain at Dancing Rabbit painted the barrel to lend a hand getting the project started.
