Memphis Teenager Ticketed For DWI Following Accident

A Memphis teenager was cited for a pair of traffic infractions following an accident on the Memphis city square August 11.

According to the Memphis Police Department, Gregory A. Kraus, 18, was ticketed for Driving While Intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident after he allegedly struck a parked vehicle on the west side of the square.

Kraus was reportedly northbound on Main Street in a 1979 Chevy when he struck a 1997 Oldsmobile mini-van that was parked. The van is owned by Joe Rossi. It sustained moderate damage to the rear end.

In an unrelated incident, the MPD reported the arrest of Dorothy D. Hoover of Hallsville at 8:35 p.m. August 10 on the Memphis city square. She was cited for public intoxication.
