Thieves Hit Local Residence Twice In One Week's Time

Thieves struck for the second time in less than a week at a Memphis residence. According to the Memphis Police Department, the Don Edelman residence at 228 N. Market Street was the site of a second theft last week.

The MPD reports that a 12-foot tall windmill as well as 100-foot of garden hose was taken from the residence sometime on August 9th.

The home had been the previous target of thieves who took a pair of white, wrought-iron chains and a matching bench from the property on August 3.

Officers felt that the size of the materials taken may have required the use of a vehicle for transportation. Anyone who saw anything suspicious in this area during the time of the thefts or who might have seen the stolen materials is asked to contact the MPD at 465-2612.
