Bible Grove Teen Escapes Injury In Crash On Route T

A Bible Grove teenager escaped serious injury in a one-vehicle accident at 10:35 p.m. September 3.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Jessica Spray, 16, was westbound on Route T three miles west of the Highway 15 intersection, when the 1993 Chevrolet she was driving went off the right side of the roadway. She apparently over corrected, forcing the vehicle off the left side of the road where it hit a tree.

The Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Scotland County Sheriff's Department. Spray was cited for failure to wear a seatbelt.
