Twyla J. Henry, 97, of Memphis, MO, passed away September 17, 2001 at the Scotland County Care Center in Memphis, MO.

She was the eldest daughter of J. Grant and Daisy B. Chambers Piles, and was born in Scotland County, MO, January 15, 1904.

Twyla had been a resident of the Scotland County Care Center, Memphis, MO for a number of years.

She spent many years in the Detroit, MI area. She was employed by The Federal Reserve Bank there. After her retirement she moved to McAllen, TX.

Twyla was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

She is survived by her sister, Lucille Lewis of Memphis, MO; a nephew, Harold W. Lewis and wife, Judy of Chicago, IL; two great-nephews, Richard and Donald Lewis; an aunt, Helen Chambers of Memphis, MO; and numerous cousins in the area.

Graveside services were held September 19, 2001, at the Gorin Cemetery, Gorin, MO, with Rev. Eloise Marx officiating. Body bearers were Harley Dauma, Ivan Woods, Harold Lewis, Weldon Tague, Don Tague, and Tary Wiley. Payne Funeral Chapel of Memphis, MO was in charge of arrangements.
