Milo O. Kirkpatrick, Jr., 72, of 10572 SE 179th Lane, Summerfield, FL, died October 30, 2001.

He was born in Asheville, NC, on January 30, 1929.

Milo graduated from the Asheville Schools. His college education was at Davidson College, NC. He was employed at his father's King College, Charlotte, NC and retired as president there in 1970.

Survivors include his wife, Emily Melton Kirkpatrick; brother, Robert and his wife, Norma of Monroe, NC; two nieces, Debra Kirkpatrick of Charlotte, NC, and Lucynda Kirkpatrick, Columbia S.C.

Milo's cousins who attended the funeral on November 2 at North Lake Presbyterian Church, North Lake, FL were Neal and wife, Dawn Kirkpatrick, Lake Mary, FL, and Lynn Kirkpatrick and wife, Anna Lynn of Memphis, MO.

The body was cremated and will be buried in the Veterans Cemetery near his home at a later date.
