Softball Squad Tops Schuyler County 11-4

The Scotland County Tigers picked up the team's second win of the year in a wild contest September 4 against Schuyler County.

SCR-I plated 11 runs in the game on just four total hits. The Lady Tigers took advantage of a wild pitching performance for Schuyler County to tally runs in nearly every inning courtesy of base on balls and wild pitches.

Amy Blomme was on base for all four of her at bats and scored three times in the game. Meagan Fromm and Jessie Cotton each scored two runs in the game.

Sara Eggleston allowed five hits and no walks while striking out nine to pick up the victory. All four runs allowed were unearned because of SCR-I errors.
