Two Scotland County men were involved in a hunting accident February 1, which left one man with a gunshot wound.

According to the Scotland County Sheriff's Department, Josh S. Hesseltine, 21, sustained a gunshot wound in the face when the .22 rifle being carried by his hunting partner accidentally discharged.
