Sponsors Offer $100 Bounty To End Win Streaks

Early success at the Scotland County Speedway for a pair of drivers has generated some additional purse money for anyone lucky enough to knock off one of the winners this Saturday night.

Cunningham Fertilizer has placed a $100 bounty on Tommy Elston and the 45 car in the late model class. Elston has won all three feature events at SCS this season. Any late model driver to end the win streak at three will win an extra $100 on top of the normal purse. The bounty's not all bad for Elston. If he manages to make it four in a row he'll take home an extra $50 from the winner's circle from Cunningham Fertilizer.

An anonymous donor has placed a similar financial bonus on the stock car class where Mike Robinson has been a perfect 3-3 thus far in the race season. The 78R car has taken the checkered flag in each of the features in the young season. Any stock car to beat Robinson this weekend will earn an extra $100. If Robinson keeps his record perfect, he'll not only take a firm grasp on the track points leader board but he'll also put an extra $50 in his pocket.
