Speedway To Host 1st Annual Midwest Cruiser Championships

As of September 30 more than 50 cars had already pre-registered for the 1st Annual Midwest Challenge Cruiser Champion-ships to be held at Scotland County Speedway on Saturday, October 5.

Drivers from across the tri-state region have tossed their names into the mix to do battle for the $1,000 prize that will go to the winner.

In addition to the cruiser action, promoter Terry Hoenig has just added stock cars to the field for fans along with the previously scheduled hobby stocks, modifieds and Wild Things.

Gates will open at 4:00 p.m. with hot laps to start at 5:30 p.m. The green flag is scheduled to fall on the first heat race at 6:00 p.m.
