UPS Driver Hurt In Crash Near Sublette

Terry "Ted" Gentry of Kirksville suffered minor injuries in a one-car crash on Highway 63 near Sublette at approximately 10:30 a.m. October 3. According to reports issued by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Gentry, the UPS driver that serves Scotland County, was traveling northbound on Highway 63 when a car in front of his UPS truck attempted to make a left-hand turn. Gentry was unable to stop the UPS truck and went off the right-side of the road to avoid a collision. The UPS truck went off the road and overturned, coming to rest on its side. Gentry suffered minor injuries in the crash. He was able to complete his route in Memphis and the surrounding area later that afternoon after the trucks contents were switched to another transport.
