Dorothy Rose Clough, 77, formerly of Memphis, MO and Fairfield, IA, passed away March 4, 2002, at her home in Phoenix, Arizona.

She is survived by her husband Carroll "Cotton" Clough; son Randy (Sandi), Minneapolis, MN; daughter Linda Klett (Chuck), Phoenix, AZ; son Michael (Vicki), Albuquerque, NM; son Curt, Phoenix, AZ; son Chris (Deb), Centerville, IA; nine grand-children, 11 great-grandchildren, and many other loving relatives and friends.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents William and Alta Rose of Memphis, MO, and brothers Kermit Rose, Memphis, MO; Lloyd Rose, Longmont, CO; and Keith Rose, Martinsburg, IA.

Dorothy and Cotton grew up in the Memphis, MO, area. They lived in Florida while Cotton was in the Army during WWII, then moved to Fairfield, IA, where they lived until they retired to Phoenix in 1987.

Dorothy was a loving homemaker and mother and her family will always remember her wonderful meals, her inviting home, and her beautiful sewing projects. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 16, at 10:30 a.m. in the Gerth Funeral Chapel, Memphis, MO, with Reverend Carol Blackwell officiating. Inurnment will be in the Memphis Cemetery, Memphis, MO. A memorial has been established. Arrangements are being handled by Gerth Funeral Service from their Memphis chapel.
