Edith Mildred Daniels, 82, of Memphis, MO, formerly of Gorin, MO, died at the Moberly Regional Medical Center in Moberly, MO, April 6, 2002.

She was born April 14, 1919, near Bible Grove, MO, to Logan and Helen Grabowski McCoy.

She married Wilber E. Daniels on November 9, 1940 in Palmyra, MO.

She was a graduate of Bible Grove High School with the Class of 1938, a member of the Bible Grove Preservation Committee, and the Scotland County Genealogical Society.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Wilber Daniels of the home; two daughters, Jeanie Weilbrenner of Canton, MO and Louise Harris of Memphis, MO; one son, Larry Daniels of Kirksville, MO; five grandchildren; nine great-grand-children; one sister, Erma Johnson of California; and two brothers, Ora McCoy of Marshalltown, IA and John McCoy of Destin, FL.

She was preceded in death by one great-grandson, Kennen Weilbrenner; two sisters, Esther Hart and Mabel Gray; three brothers, Arthur, Cecil and James McCoy.

Memorial services were held April 9, 2002, at the Memphis Funeral Home in Memphis, MO, with the Rev. Jack Sumption officiating. A memorial has been established to the American Heart Association. Memphis Funeral Home in Memphis, MO, was in charge of arrangements.
