Willa I. Magorian, 82, of Milton, IA, died March 30, 2002, at her home.

She was born August 21, 1919, in Milton, IA to Ira L. and Lutie Leggett Cantril.

She married Eugene Magorian on March 18, 1936, in Memphis, MO.

She graduated from Milton High School, Milton, IA, and Parsons College in Fairfield, IA. She taught in Missouri rural schools; Selma grade school; on an Apache Indian reservation and in Douglas, AZ; at Bonapart, IA school; and for 17 years in Fort Madison, IA community schools.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Ruth Bell of Mount Sterling, IA; a son, Louis of Worcester, MA; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; a step great-great-granddaughter; a brother, Leland Cantril of Memphis, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Hollis Cantril; and a daughter, Carolyn Brotherton.

Funeral services were April 2, 2002, at Milton Christian Church with Pastor Justin De DeVries officiating. Burial was in Sunnyside Cemetery, Milton, IA. Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, IA was in charge of arrangements.
