Donald E. Cochenour, 66, of Macomb, IL, died May 17, 2002, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.

He was born February 8, 1936 in Kirksville, MO, to Clarence and Mary Purvis Cochenour.

He graduated from Granger High School, Granger, MO with the class of 1954.

Surviving are three sons, David (and Sandy) Cochenour of Maryville, TN, Larry (and Debbie) Inman of Kingston, GA, and Michael (and Melissa) Inman of Macomb, IL; three daughters, Debora (and Stephen) Fogle of Round Rock, TX, Melinda (and Bernie) Potter of Avon, IL, and Renee (and Greg) Abel of Wichita, KS; 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; several aunts and uncles, cousins, several residing in Scotland and Clark County, MO; and a special friend, Lucille (Curfman) Bundren of Galesburg, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson.

He worked in sales.

Donald was a member of the Macomb Elks Lodge and the Eagles Aerie, and was a social member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars Posts.

Services were held May 21st, 2002, at Dodgeworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home. The Rev. Mark Myers officiated. Burial was in Memphis Cemetery, Memphis, MO. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia Research Foundation.
