MARILYN ANN KITTLE
(7/14/1932 - 5/26/2002)



Marilyn Ann Kittle, 69, of Memphis, MO, passed away May 26, 2002, at the Scotland County Memorial Hospital, Memphis, MO.

She was born July 14, 1932, in Pleasantville, IA, the daughter of Charles Alfred and Sarah Margaret Mott Niccum.

Marilyn attended and graduated from Pleasantville High School.

She married Dale Kittle on June 20, 1952, in Des Moines, IA.

She was a member of Providence Baptist Church, Azen, MO. She spent her entire life as a farm wife until moving to Memphis, MO in 1991. She served as secretary at the First Baptist Church in Memphis, MO for several years, and was a volunteer at the Scotland County Care Center, Memphis, MO.

Survivors include three daughters, Kathy and husband, Robert Martin of Ozark, MO, Malonda and husband, Steve Robinson of Memphis, MO, Jeanne and husband, Robert Parrish of Memphis, MO; one son, Clay and wife, Dian Kittle of Rocheport, MO; nine grand-children, Jamie Robinson, Jenny and husband, Randall Aldridge, Jessica Parrish, Casey Parrish, Joshua Kittle, Andrew Kittle, Amanda Martin, Curtis Martin, and Kevin Martin; one great-grandson, Kyle Aldridge; two sisters, Audrey Chaplin and June Nelson of Des Moines, IA; three brothers, Frank Niccum of San Benito, TX, Forest Niccum and John Niccum of Chicago, IL; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two infant siblings.

The family has suggested memorials to the Providence Cemetery.

Funeral services were held June 1, 2002, at the First Baptist Church, Memphis, MO, with Rev. Robert Garringer officiating. Musicians were John and Debbie Gorham and Arleta Dye. Body bearers were Jamie Robinson, Curtis Martin, Joshua Kittle, Andrew Kittle, Kevin Martin, Casey Parrish, and Randall Aldridge. Honorary bearers were Jenny Aldridge, Amanda Martin, Jessica Parrish, and Kyle Aldridge. Interment was in the Providence Cemetery, northern Scotland County, MO. Arrangements handled by the Payne Funeral Chapel, Memphis, MO.
