DOROTHY MARIE DRESSLER Dorothy Marie Dressler, 68, of Granger, MO died June 28, 2002, in her home.

She was born the daughter of Henry (Doc) and Bertha (Allen) Dressler on May 25, 1934, in Franklin, IA.

Dorothy graduated from high school in Franklin, IA.

She was employed at the Schaffer Pen Factory before she moved to Granger, MO. In Missouri, she was employed at the Kahoka Shelter for the Disabled. She had been an active participant in the OATS Bus Program for over 30 years. Dorothy was honored as the OATS Volunteer of the Year in 1994.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Melvin Dressler; and a niece, Amanda Nicole Dressler.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Wanda Dressler Frank of Las Vegas, NV; a nephew, Elmer Albert Dressler of Las Vegas, NV; many friends and neighbors.

A memorial service was held July 2, 2002, at the Gerth Funeral Service Chapel in Memphis, MO with Reverend Charles Hammack officiating. A memorial fund has been established. Gerth Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.
