Venda Edith Donaldson, 94, of Memphis, MO, passed away September 13, 2002, at her home in Memphis.

Venda was born January 12, 1908, in Scotland County, MO, the daughter of Jess W. and Morilla K. (Gundy) Moore.

She married Glen Donaldson. They lived on a farm and did farming many years before retiring and moving to Memphis, MO in 1972.

Venda was a member of the First Christian Church of Memphis, MO. She was a member of the Kahoka Chapter #40, Order of the Eastern Star, Kahoka, MO, and had received her 50-year pin.

She is survived by her sister, Velma Wilson of Memphis, MO; her nephews, Leonard Moore and his wife, Julia of Mission, KS and Robert Moore and his wife, Ruth of Keokuk, IA; several great-nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her husband; parents; three brothers, Ross Moore, Leslie T. Moore; Leo Moore; two sisters-in-law; and two nephews, M.E. Moore and Leslie Jr. Moore.

She will be missed by all.

The family has suggested memorials to the First Christian Church of Memphis, MO.

Eastern Star Services were held September 15, 2002, by the Kahoka Chapter #40 Order of the Eastern Star, Kahoka, MO.

Funeral services were held September 16, 2002, at the Payne Funeral Chapel, Memphis, MO, with Bro. Jack Sumption officiating. Body bearers were Tony Moore, Ross Moore, Ted Gundy, Rick Stepp, Ryan Moore, and Joe Tom Walker. Interment was in the Memphis Cemetery, Memphis, MO.
