BARBARA E. GOLBRICHT

Barbara E. Golbricht, 54, of Gorin, MO, died October 1, 2002, at the Scotland County Memorial Hospital in Memphis, MO.

She was the second of four children, born to Frank Howard and Bertha B. (McGee) Eddleman on July 19, 1948, in Keokuk, IA.

She was educated in the Clark County School system, graduating from the Wyaconda C-1 High School in 1966.

On May 25, 1970, she was united in marriage to Donald D. Golbricht by the Rev. Barnett in Edina, MO. He survives. They made their home in Gorin, MO.

Barb enjoyed collecting figurines of pigs, doing yard work, and playing bingo. She loved her grandchildren very much and was always willing to lend a hand.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Donnie; a daughter, Shelley and husband, Victor of Sarasota, FL; a son, Bill and wife, Amber Golbricht of Wyaconda, MO; three brothers, Fred and wife, Linda Eddleman of rural Kahoka, MO, William Eddleman of Dixon, MO, and Alfred Eddleman of Burlington, IA; three grandchildren, Stephanie, Miranda and Kyle Golbricht of Wyaconda, MO; two special Godchildren, Danny and Dustin Roach of Gorin, MO; two special friends, Rexann Roach and Cindy Miller of Gorin, MO, who provided her special care; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held October 4, 2002, in the Gerth Funeral Chapel in Memphis, MO, with the Reverend Ernest Deatrick officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Bill Roach, Tim Branch, Jeff Martin, Mark Calvert, Walter Morris, Bill Richardson, and Edwin Herr, D.C. Honorary bearers were Danny and Dustin Roach, Rick Frederick, Charles Adams, Donald Lee Miller, Nelson Golbricht, and Lawrence Heimer. Interment was in the Gorin Cemetery, Gorin, MO. Memorials have been suggested to the family or to the charity or organization of the donor's choice. Arrangements were handled by Gerth Funeral Service from their Memphis Chapel.
