JESSICA NICOLE BUCKALLEW
(9/11/1983 - 11/17/2002)



Jessica Nicole Buckallew, 19, of Lancaster, MO, passed away November 17, 2002, due to the result of a single auto accident, south of Lancaster, MO on Route U.

The daughter of Richie Dean and Jasetia Kay (Farley) Buckallew, she was born September 11, 1983, in Aurora, CO.

Survivors include her parents, Richie and Jasetia Buckallew of Lancaster, MO; one brother, Colby Buckallew and wife, Susan of Lancaster, MO; grandparents, Darl and Leanna Buckallew of Lancaster, MO, Jim and Mary Alice Farley of Kirksville, MO, and Marilyn and Jim Steggall of Lancaster, MO; great-grand-parents, Raymond and Judy Buckallew of Lancaster, MO, Marcella Farley of Memphis, MO and Clyde and Edna Lay of Memphis, MO; aunts and uncles, Julie and Doug Poe of Downing, MO, Mary and Ken Gordy of Excelsior Springs, MO, Robbie and Stacy Farley of Lancaster, MO and Kirk and Gigi Buckallew of Lancaster, MO; nieces, Alexis Boas, Chloe and Marissa Buckallew, all of Lancaster, MO; and several cousins and a host of many friends.

Jessica was a member of the Downing Baptist Church in Downing, MO and was a member of the Schuyler R-I graduating class of 2002, where she was involved in high school softball for several years and the high school chorus. Jessica was attending classes at the Moberly Area Junior College in Kirksville, MO and was also employed at the Sonic in Kirksville, MO.

Funeral services were held November 20, 2002, at the Lancaster Christian Church with Rob Green officiating. Music was provided by organist Maureen Watkins. Special CD selections were played. Pallbearers were Trenton Tallman, Casey Keim, Cole Steen, Tyson Hatfield, Damon Mulvaney and Adam Fugate. Interment was in the Arni Memorial Cemetery in Lancaster, MO. Memorials have been established for the Jessica Buckallew Scholarship Fund. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, MO.
