SCR-I Freshman Boys Beat Clark County 49-33

The Scotland County freshman boys basketball team continued a strong season with a 49-33 victory over Clark County January 18 in Memphis.

Drew Holt had his strongest game of the year finishing with 16 points including nine points during a key 13-6 second period that saw the Tigers pull ahead for good.

Andy Graham and Jared Shelley both had four points as the Tigers jumped on top 15-12 in the first period.

Holt hit his second three pointer of the game in the third quarter as SCR-I went ahead 37-24. Carl Wittstock was a perfect four of four from the free throw line in the fourth period as the Tigers held on for the 49-33 win.

Holt had 16 to lead the scoring for Scotland County. Shelley and Wittstock each finished with eight and Toren Skinner added seven.
