Tigers Track Team Takes Third Place At Mustang Relays

The Scotland County Tigers ran, jumped and threw their way to a third place finish in the Class A Division of the Mustang Relays in Bloomfield, IA, April 9.

Three first place finishes helped the Tigers earn the top three finish. Scotland County's Jason Glass won the discus event. Teammate Cody Holt topped the field in the high jump. The Tigers 4x800 meter relay team of Clint Cottrell, Holt, Danny Roach and David Hillyer won first also.

The team had a similar number of second place finishers headed up by Jason Findling in the long jump. Brett Masden finished second in the shot put. The SCR-I sprint medley team of Joel Myers, Aaron Holt, Glass and Aaron Cline was second.

Rounding out the team score was a third place finish by the 4x200-meter relay team. The team consisted of Tim Robinson, Findling, Holt and Tim Buford.
