Road Continues To Be Unkind To SCR-I Golf Team

The road has not been as kind to the Scotland County golf team as the friendly confines of Timber Ridge golf course at home. SCR-I traveled to Clark County where the Tigers lost a dual match against the Indians by just three strokes.

Chase Moore led all golfers with a score of 40. Jessie Nelson of Clark County was runner-up with a 41 while the Tigers Andy Boyer was just one stroke off that pace with a 42.

Corvin Drummond (45) and Josh McBee (48) and Vince Rockhold (48) rounded out the team score of 175 for the Tigers. In golf team scores only the four best scores are tabulated from the five-member team.

The Tigers junior varsity team was nearly 100 strokes better than the Indians JV winning 194-292. Brock Meeks topped the performance with a 43. Josh Marlowe and Nick Oldham each had rounds of 48 while Brian Dial finished with a 53.
