Tiger Golfers Glad To Be Back On Home Course

It's good to be home. The Scotland County golf team got back to Timber Ridge Golf Course in Memphis and returned to its winning ways, defeating Schuyler County and Fox Valley in an April 21 event.

Josh McBee and Andy Boyer both were just two over par on the afternoon to tie for individual medalist honors with rounds of 36. Chase Moore shot a 38 and Josh Marlowe rounded out the team score with a 41. Corvin Drummond carded a 42. That gave SCR-I a 151, five strokes better than Schuyler County's 156 and well ahead of Fox Valley, which finished with a 181.

The Tigers junior varsity finished the event with a 203 score. Vince Rockhold shot a 42 followed by Ryan Hinds with a 48, Brock Meeks with a 49 and Micheal Monroe with a 72.
