Local Drivers Run Racecars At Lee County Speedway

Two local drivers braved the heat last week to take to the race track at Lee County Speedway July 26.

Doug Small piloted the 4/D car to an 11th place finish in the 24-car hobby stock feature race. Matt Strassheim was the winner of the race. The Burlington, IA driver runs the 41S car.

Bob Dale took his 12 car to LCS for the Modified action and finished in the middle of the pack. Dale was seventh among the 14 cars to start the main event. Mark Burgtorf took the checkered flag in the contest.
