Rush To Address Seniors At 2003 SCR-I Graduation

Terry Rush will be the special guest speaker at the 2003 Scotland County R-I Graduation to be held Sunday, May 18 beginning at 2:00 p.m. in the SCR-I High School Gymnasium.

Rush, a 1965 graduate of SCR-I has a unique ministry with the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team. His background in the ministry as well as with baseball have assisted him in publishing six books of the years.

He has a seventh book due out this summer. The piece, entitled Voice of Silver, Heart of Gold, is about legendary Cardinals radio announce Jack Buck.

Rush has his own radio and television programs and even appeared on an ESPN documentary regarding the film site for the famous baseball movie, Field of Dreams.

Terry is the son of Stan and Lorraine Rush. He and his wife Mary have three children, Wendy, Dusty and Tim.
