Library Summer Reading Program Begins June 2nd

The 2003 Summer Reading Program, "Laugh It Up At Your Library" will start June 2nd and continues through July 16th at the Scotland County Memorial Library. The kickoff program will be 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4th, with "The Magic of Allen Roen", returning with his magic and comedy show.

The library will have storytimes with Heidi Triplett, Missouri Extension Food Education Assistant on June 11th, 18th, 25th, and July 2nd and 9th.

The closing program will be the last day of the summer reading program, July 16th at 10:30 a.m. featuring "The Marble Lady", Cathy Runyan.

Summer programs and storytimes are open to children of all ages. The Summer Reading Program sign-up is open ages three years through the sixth grade.

Join the fun, storytimes, programs and prizes. For more information call the library 465-7042, Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
