Gorin Man Held On $100,000 Bond Following Attack

An Arbela man remains in custody at the Scotland County Jail on $100,000 cash bond after an altercation at a Gorin residence Thursday, May 29.

Randy A. Glover, 20, is facing class B felony charges of assault in the first degree and burglary in the first degree as well as a C felony of attempted arson in the first degree and a class D felony of property damage in the first degree.

The charges stem from an altercation with a Gorin man. Glover allegedly drove his truck into the man's property damaging a parked car as well as the property adjoining a mobile home. He later reportedly spread diesel fuel in and around the mobile home and threatened to set the property on fire.

Glover was taken into custody by the Scotland County Sheriff's Department with the assistance of the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The Gorin volunteer fire department also responded to the scene due to the threat of fire.

Glover is being held on a $100,000 cash only bond awaiting a June 10th court date.
