Race Fans Get Bonus Action At June 14 Races

Scotland County Speedway fans will get some added excitement this weekend as the agenda for the June 14 races have been updated on a pair of fronts.

The United States Modified Touring Series will be making an unexpected stop in the region that weekend. The USMTS will be at Lee County Speedway in Donelson, IA on Friday night before coming to Memphis for the Saturday, June 14 races.

But that's not all. Mother Nature has made it a twin billing for a number of the classes after rain spoiled the second half of the June 7 races. At the time of the cancellation promoter Terry Hoenig announced that double features would be held this Saturday.

That means the hobby stocks, stock cars and two-man cruisers are slotted to run double features this Saturday.
