Fair Board Offers New Contract To Track Promoter

The season-ending special at Scotland County Speedway held September 20 in Memphis had many race fans looking to next year as this year’s race season came to a close.

The Scotland County Fair Board has announced that it has offered promoter Terry Hoenig a new contract for the 2004 race year. Board president Phil Aylward indicated the contract is similar to the agreement from last year.

The current contract between the fair board and track promoter will expire at the end of October. Hoenig will have up to 30 days following the reception of the official offer to act on the contract, meaning race fans will know no later than the end of October if the track promoter will be back.
