Kenneth F. Clifton, 58, of Quincy, IL, formerly of Wyaconda, MO, died December 23, 2002, in an automobile accident near Springfield, MO.

He was the son of Robert A. and Phylis (Haddix) Clifton, north of Luray, MO, on April 14, 1944.

The family moved to Quincy, IL in 1957 from Wyaconda, MO. Kenneth graduated from Quincy High School in 1964.

Kenneth was employed at St. Mary's Hospital, Midwest Patterns, and most recently at McDonalds on Broadway in Quincy, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his daughter, Sarah Clifton of Quincy, IL; a granddaughter, Haley Elizabeth Rose Farrell of Quincy, IL; his brother, Robert Clifton of Wyaconda, MO; and two sisters, Marjorie Heelan of Kansas City, MO and Terry Triplett of Carl Junction, MO.

Funeral services were held December 28, 2002, in the Gerth Funeral Chapel in Wyaconda, MO, with the Reverend Ernest Deatrick officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Rodney Heelan, Dennis Smith, Dan Day, Craig Triplett, Matt Heelan, and John David Clifton. Interment was in the Fairmont Cemetery, south of Wyaconda, MO. Memorials have been suggested to Fairmont Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Gerth Funeral Service from their Wyaconda Chapel, Wyaconda, MO.
