Judy Ann Carder, 58, of Gallatin, MO, died January 25, at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, KS.

Judy was born March 2, 1944 to Ora and Hazel Rhoads Bradford in Peoria, IL.

She attended school in Memphis, MO.

On May 22, 1960 Judy married Ron Corwin.

She worked as Gallatin City Clerk for many years. She also worked at Lake Viking and Tate Marina.

In 1974, she married Gary Carder in Gallatin, MO.

Judy was elected Daviess County Treasurer in 1977 and served the county for 26 years. She took pride in her office and was always eager to help. Judy was a member of the Gallatin Rotary Club, Missouri State Treasurer's Association, and the Daviess County Democrats. Judy was a loving mother and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Judy was preceded in death by her father, Ora Bradford in 1983.

Survivors include two sons, Eric and Mark Corwin of Gallatin, MO; mother, Hazel Bradford of Memphis, MO; two sisters, Norma Riney of Memphis, MO, Mary Campbell of Hannibal, MO; and six grandchildren; four nieces; a nephew; and a host of other relatives.

Services were held January 28, 2003, at the First Baptist Church in Gallatin, MO. Burial was at the Hillcrest Cemetery, Gallatin, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gallatin Booster Club. McWilliams Family Funeral Homes, Inc., Gallatin, MO was in charge of arrangements.
