Albert G. Reaves, 56, of Moulton, IA, died March 18, 2003, at his home.

He was born January 1, 1947 in Newton, IA, to Lyle H. and Lily B. Martens Reaves.

He graduated from United Township High School in East Moline, IL, in 1966 and served in the United States Army in Viet Nam.

He married Teresa "Red" Rysdam, August 2, 1982, in Memphis, MO.

He was a car salesman for several years, retiring in February of 2002. He had lived in Moulton, IA since 1995.

He is survived by his wife; his mother of Memphis, MO, and a brother, Ronald Reaves of Houston, TX.

He is preceded in death by his father and a brother, William Reaves.

Funeral services were held March 21, 2003, at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield, IA, with Pastor Bill Eakins officiating. Casket bearers were Dean Long, Bruce Wortmann, Bill Hudson, Andy Miller, John Garnett, Dan Jenkins, Joe Leer and Jeff Owen. Honorary bearers were Bill Rominger, Steve Duffield, Larry Robinson, and Jack Woolard. Burial was in the Lester Cemetery in Davis County, IA. A memorial has been established to his family. Wagler's Funeral Home of Bloomfield, IA was in charge of arrangements.
