Virginia F. "Ginny" Lopez, 67, of Wyaconda, MO, formerly of El Monte, CA, passed away April 18, 2003, at her residence in Wyaconda, MO.

Ginny was born on March 21, 1936, in Lafayette, IL, the daughter of Harold Gale and Ada Frances Hammond Miller.

She enjoyed all outdoor activities including fishing but most of all she dearly cherished the time spent with her grandkids.

On January 11, 1969, in El Monte, CA, Ginny married Pete Lopez.

She is survived by two sons, Joseph Ray and his wife, Karen Lopez of Chandler, AZ, and Kevin Wayne and his wife, Sheri Lopez of Cantonsville, MD; one daughter, Jeanette Sue Lopez and her fiancee Sean Leech, both of Hanford, CA; two brothers, Leroy and his wife, Cindy Miller of Gorin, MO and Clifford and his wife, Teresa Miller of Elkland, MO; three sisters, Diana and her husband, Jack March of Luray, MO, Peggy and her husband, Raymond Davis of Moberly, MO, and Margaret Lusby of Emporia, KS; a sister-in-law, Betty Miller of Keokuk, IA; seven grandchildren, Shane, Joshua, Rebekah, and Hannah Lopez and Brianne, Zoie, and Reese Perrin, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ginny was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, one brother and two brothers-in-law.

At Ginny's request her body was cremated and a private family burial will be held at a later date. There will be no services at this time. Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO was in charge of arrangements.
