Shawn Z. Oberholtzer, 27-day-old infant of Glen and Elaine Oberholtzer, passed away June 23, 2003, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, MO.

He was born on May 28, 2003, in Memphis, MO, the son of Glen Martin and Elaine Zimmerman Oberholtzer of Rutledge, MO.

Shawn is also survived by six brothers and one sister: Merlin, Gerald, Burnell, Lavon, Delmar, Glen Jr. and Cynthia, all of the home northeast of Rutledge, MO; maternal grandparents, Amos and Frances Zimmerman of Tipton, MO, and fraternal grandparents, Leroy and Miriam Oberholtzer of Memphis, MO; and a great-grandmother, Anna G. and the late Mahlon M. Zimmerman of Danville, PA; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 27, 2003, at 9:00 a.m. at the Hillcrest Mennonite Community Center and at 9:30 a.m. at the Indian Creek Mennonite Church, both south of Memphis, MO. Burial will be in the Indian Creek Mennonite Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 26, 2003, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Hillcrest Mennonite Community Center south of Memphis, MO.

The Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO, is in charge of arrangements.
