THOMAS MICHAEL DUNNING
(11/28/1931 - 7/1/2003)




Thomas Michael Dunning, 71, of Kahoka, MO, died July 1, 2003, at the Scotland County Care Center in Memphis, MO.

He was born November 28, 1931, in Clark County, MO, a son of Thomas and Luttie Schmid Dunning.

Thomas had been a resident of Clark County, MO all his life. He had farmed and drove a truck. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Kahoka, MO. He had served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Thomas enjoyed hunting and woodworking.

Survivors include special friend, Hazel Arnold of Kahoka, MO; two sisters, Sister Eleanor Dunning of Clinton, IA and Mrs. Guy (Doris) Spence of Kahoka, MO, and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Mary Bates; two brothers, Joseph and Richard; and one sister-in-law, Paula Dunning.

Funeral services were held July 5, 2003 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka, MO with Father Roland Carbone officiating. Burial with military rites by the VFW Post #4342 and the American Legion Post #192 was held in the Kahoka Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the local Cancer Society. The Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka, MO was in charge of arrangements.
