MADELON PRICKETT
(10/3/1913 - 8/25/2003)




Madelon Prickett, 89, of Kahoka, MO, formerly of Wyaconda, MO, died August 25, 2003, at the Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, IA.

She was born October 3, 1913, in Neeper, MO, a daughter of Wilfred and Sarah K. Walker Prickett.

Madelon was a graduate of Wyaconda High School. She was a member of the Wyaconda Christian Church and the Friends of Sever. She worked for the U.S. Government Civil Service in Kansas City, MO and California.

She is survived by one sister, Georgia Prickett of Kahoka, MO and three special friends, Joetta Fountain, Jan Wagner, Helen Elam, and Bonnie Sheffler.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Myrtle and Lucille Prickett; and one brother, Roland Prickett.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 28, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. in the Wyaconda Cemetery in Wyaconda, MO, with Reverend Ernest Deatrick officiating.

There will be no visitation. Friends may register Wednesday, August 27, 2003, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or Thursday, August 28, 2003, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka, MO. The Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka, MO is in charge of arrangements.
