Ruth Louise Jacobs Shaw, formerly of Lancaster, MO passed away at Heritage Park Nursing Home in Rolla, MO on August 28, 2003.

Mrs. Shaw was born September 22, 1914, and had lived her entire life in Schuyler County, MO until moving to Rolla, MO following the death of her husband, Raymond in 1989.

Mrs. Shaw was the youngest daughter of Henry Melvin (Pat) Jacobs and Effie Mac McCloskey Jacobs.

She was married to Raymond Shaw on September 26, 1935.

Besides her husband and parents, her sister, Lulu Ketchum, and two grandchildren preceded her in death.

Mr. and Mrs. Shaw had farmed in Schuyler County, MO all of their married life. In 1955, they became agents for MFA Insurance Company in Columbia, MO, most recently Shelter Insurance. They were also representatives for the Singer Company.

Mrs. Shaw was a member of First Christian Church in Rolla, MO at the time of her death.
