Robert Roy "Bob" Kight, 76, died unexpectedly September 18, 2003, six miles south of Moberly, MO.

He was born March 18, 1927, to Everett and Charlotte Groseclose Kight in Schuyler County, MO.

He married Diane Lee Grabowski Jackson on October 22, 1971 at the Downing Christian Church in Downing, MO.

He was a dairy farmer in the Downing, MO area until retirement in 1980. He moved to Memphis, MO in 2002.

Survivors include his wife of Memphis and four step-children, Shellie and husband, Larry Jackson of Memphis, MO, Toni and husband, Scott Stoner of Texas, Randy and wife, Lorie Jackson of Brooksville, FL, and Sally and husband, Ken Hooks of Princeton, TX; six step-grandchildren, David and wife, Jodie Jackson of Memphis, MO, Justin Jackson of Brooksville, FL, Sydney Stoner of Texas and Landry, Shelby and Ryan Hooks of Princeton, TX; two sisters, Anna Lee and husband, Arthur Robinson of Loveland, CO and Margie and husband, Dale Poe of Downing, MO; four nieces; two nephews; cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services were held September 22, 2003, in the Downing Cemetery, Downing, MO. Memorials in Bob's memory may be given to the Downing Fire Department. They may be left at or mailed to the Memphis Funeral Home, 378 South Market Street, Memphis, MO 63555. Memphis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
