ALFRED EDWARD EDDLEMAN
(3/8/1958 - 9/24/2003)




Alfred Edward Eddleman, 45, of Burlington, IA, formerly of Memphis, MO, died September 24, 2003, at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington, IA.

He was born the son of Frank Howard and Bertha Belle (McGee) Eddleman on March 8, 1958 in Keokuk, IA.

Alfred graduated from Wyaconda High School.

He married the former Joy Nye on May 15, 1974.

Alfred liked to travel and watch sports. He especially enjoyed fishing, going to auctions and attending carnivals and festivals.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Barbara Golbricht; grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his children, Franklin Eddleman of Burlington, IA, and Amanda Marie Eddleman of Kahoka, MO; two brothers, Robert Lee Eddleman and his wife, Linda of Luray, MO, and William Howard Eddleman and his wife, Eva of Dixon, MO; Joy Eddleman of Burlington, IA; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services were held September 29, 2003, at the Gerth Funeral Chapel in Memphis with Pastor Jack Sumption officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Rick Fischer, Bill Golbricht, Pat Beardsley, David Hawthorne, Michael Gawthrop, and Lester Hawthorne. Honorary bearer was Ron Fischer. Interment was in Frazee Cemetery, Clark County, MO.

Memorials have been suggested to the family and may be left at or mailed to: Gerth Funeral Service, 115 S. Main, Memphis, MO 63555. Arrangements were handled by Gerth Funeral Service from their Memphis chapel. Condolences may be sent to Mr. Eddleman’s family via email at gerths@gerths.com.
