ELIZABETH ANN PRYOR
(6/25/1920 - 10/7/2003)




Elizabeth Ann (Betty) Pryor, 83, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away Tuesday, October 7th due to natural causes.

Betty Pryor was born June 25, 1920 in Memphis, MO. After attending William Woods College and Culver-Stockton College, she was happily married for 57 years to Noel Pryor, retired captain Arlington Police Department.

While her priority was always family, Betty was also a successful legal secretary. She was named Woman of the Year by the Arlington chapter of the American Business Womenís Association. Betty was a member of Aldersgate Methodist Church, Chi Omega, DAR and PEO.

True to Godís promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Betty has fallen asleep but will triumphantly return with Christ.

Survivors include husband Noel Pryor, sons and daughter-in-laws Tom and Sue Pryor and Dick and Kathie Pryor of Arlington, Texas; grandchildren Paul Pryor and Valerie King; great-grandsons Joey, Alex, Austen, and Braedon; brother-in-law and sister Eldon and Carol Lee Hans of Cedar Rapids, IA plus a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral was held Friday October 10th at Arlington Funeral Home Chapel with burial at DFW National Cemetery.
