TED LEE LANCASTER
(1/4/1963 - 10/13/2003)




Ted Lee Lancaster, died at his home in Memphis, MO, on October 13, 2003, at the age of 40.

He was born January 4, 1963 at the Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield, IA, the son of Paul Dewayne and Marlene F. (Molly) Lancaster.

Ted is survived by his father, Paul Lancaster of Memphis, MO; three sisters, Carolyn R. Harper and husband, Danny of Eldon, MO, Marilyn K. Means and husband, David of Pineville, LA and Lanita J. Lancaster of Memphis, MO; one nephew, David Alan Harper and two nieces, Danielle Nicole Harper and Martha Raye Means; several uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother; a brother, Alan Dewayne born January 4, 1955 and died January 11, 1955; his grandparents, Lloyd and Mae Lancaster and Herman and Beulah Girardin.

Ted attended Scotland County R-I Schools and had been employed by Tague Welding in Gorin, MO. He enjoyed animals, especially his trustworthy companion, “Lady”. Lady is a stray “Heinze 57” breed he took in and loved six years ago.

Ted will be greatly missed by his family.

The family has suggested memorials to the Alcoholics Anonymous and may be left at or mailed to the Payne Funeral Chapel, 202 E. Madison, Memphis, MO 63555.

Funeral services were held October 16, 2003, at the Payne Funeral Chapel, Memphis, MO, with Rev. Carol Blackwell officiating. Pallbearers were Steve Harvey, David Harper, Danny Harper, Steve Snodgrass, Steve Girardin, and Charles Simpson. Interment was in the Memphis Cemetery, Memphis, MO.
