Ermine E. Moore, 84, of Memphis, MO, died November 22, 2003 at the Scotland County Care Center in Memphis, MO, where she had been a resident for 11 years.

Ermine, the daughter of Edward J. and Lelia Brown Zinnert, was born November 23, 1918, at Medill, MO.

On December 23, 1942, Ermine was married to Robert Meyers Moore and they had three children – one whom preceded her in death in infancy.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob, January 12, 1992; infant son, Robert Gale; twin brother, Emmett in 1980.

Survivors include her children, Dr. Linda L. Moore of Kansas City, MO, and Richard Eugene Moore and his wife, Jeanie of Kansas City, MO; two brothers, Gale B. Zinnert and his wife, Barbara of Turlock, CA and Keith Zinnert of Kahoka, MO; and several nieces and nephews.

Ermine was a graduate of Kahoka High School, a homemaker, and an avid democrat. She had been a dispatcher for the Scotland County Sheriff’s Department, and a Memphis High School bus driver.

The family has suggested memorials to the Memphis V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, and may be left at or mailed to the Payne Funeral Chapel, 202 E. Madison, Memphis, MO 63555.

Memorial services were held November 28, 2003, at the Payne Funeral Chapel, Memphis, MO, with Rev. Charles Hammack officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
