LUKE TYLER GUNDY
(4/25/1986 - 12/15/2003)




Luke Tyler Gundy, 18, of Blue Springs, MO formerly of Fort Scott, Kansas, died Monday, December 15, 2003 at his residence. Memorial Services were held Friday, December 19, 2003 at Birchwood Baptist Church, Raytown, MO.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Blue Springs Parks & Recreation Skateboard Park Project.

Luke was born April 25, 1986 in Nebraska City, NE to Kevin and Kim (Barrows) Gundy. Luke was a senior at Fort Osage High School. He formerly attended Fort Scott High School where he was a member of the track team. Luke worked part time at the McDonald’s on Woods Chapel Road in Blue Springs. Luke enjoyed drawing and had intended to further his education in art. He was an avid skate-boarder, and loved fast cars.

Luke is survived by his parents: Kevin Gundy, Blue Springs, MO and Kim Gundy, Overland Park, KS; his brother: Cody Gundy, Blue Springs, MO; his paternal grandparents: Ted and Ellen Gundy, Memphis, MO; and his very best friend Curtis Buntain, Fort Scott, KS.

Arrangements were handled by D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Blue Springs Chapel, 1600 Main St., Blue Springs, MO.
