Lady Tigers JV Basketball Team Improves To 4-0

The Lady Tigers junior varsity basketball team remained perfect on the year with a 41-13 win over Knox County January 3 in Memphis.

Scotland County improved to 4-0 on the year despite a slow start to the game.

"We came out sluggish, as neither team scored in the first four and half minutes of the game," Coach Josh Smith said. "But it was a good game to get the rust off a bit after the holiday break."

Jamie Fuller ended the scoring drought with six quick points to close the first period.

Knox County never really recovered, scoring just three points in the entire first half. SCR-I took advantage and built a 22-3 lead and never looked back en route to the easy win.

Fuller finished with 12 points to lead all scorers. Jacqui Drummond and Ashley Frederick both finished with eight points.
