Three SCR-I Players Honored On All-District Hoops Teams

Three Scotland County R-I players continued to receive post-honors following the 2002-03 basketball season. The Northeast Missouri Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association announced its northeast Missouri all-district basketball teams for 2003.

Chase Moore was named to the first team all-district squad for Missouri Class Two representing districts five and six. Moore was one of eight players to earn the honors, with half the awards going to players from either Van-Far or Canton, district champions for District Five and Six respectively.

Meagan Fromm earned first-team all-district honors closing out her stellar high school basketball career on the team for the third consecutive season.

The Fromm name doesn't look like it will disappear off the list however, as younger sister, Ali Fromm stepped right in during her freshman season to earn second-team recognition in the all-district balloting.

For a complete view of who earned the post season honors see the graphic below.
