Tigers Best Putnam County In JV Contest

The junior varsity football team brought home a 14-6 victory from Putnam County on October 6th.

The Tigers put a pair of touchdowns up in the first half and then held on through a late Putnam County rally to pick up the victory.

SCR-I scored in the first period on a six-yard touchdown pass from Marcus Shalley to Karl Snyder. The two-point attempt failed.

The lead went to 14-0 when Shalley scored on a 12-yard run in the second period. The freshman quarterback then connected with Bryce Blomme for the two-point conversion.

The Tigers defense pitched the shutout until late in the fourth period when Putnam County scored on a 12 yard pass play from Brandon Thomas to David Fowler.
