Grace Cameron Celebrates 100th Birthday

Grace Kutzner Cameron was honored at a 100th birthday party and open house, January 3, in the Sunroom at the Scotland County Care Center.

Representative Brian Munzlinger was in attendance to present her with a framed biography of the events in her long life. A picture was taken of the presentation.

In 1904 the year of her birth, Theodore Roosevelt was president. She saw World War I and World War II as well as many others. She was born the same day as Glenn Miller and Bing Crosby.

Guests were from Illinois, Iowa and the Scotland County area. Roses were sent to her from a niece who could not attend. A sister also sent flowers. The event was hosted by her niece and husband, Verlee and Harley Dauma. Refreshments were served.

Her sisters, Helen Kutzner Chambers and Estalene Kutzner Kugler were in attendance. Another sister, Dorothy Kutzner Bendlage of Homer, IL, was unable to attend due to illness.
